You need a certification for computer technician, there you will start with the basics of computer repair fundamentals (12 to 18 months) and then anything else is on you (certifications, additional courses, and hands on)

There is nothing complicate in building computers, a seven year old can do that. it is setting a computer up. and that can be done in the comfort of your own home, the thing about going to collage what you learn to day is out of date tomorrow in the IT industry.

For those that don’t know anything other than windows operating systems it is a wast of time for their future employment in IT as windows is on it’s way out,

The thing to be learning today is the Linux Operating Systems because that is the future Operating System the reason for that is it is free, more Secure, Faster, and more Powerful.

The only reason you know how to use windows is because Microsoft trapped you into it they forced you to use it, you had no choice you in the matter.

Linux is about to replace MS Windows as the Number one operating system in 2009, people will start to hear about it, see it in action, then start downloading it and using it, Big Businesses are using it because it is free to use, All the software Is free, Yahoo and Google websites run off Linux
do your home work and check into Linux,

Download it, learn how to install it, learn how to programs with it, learn how to setup and install a network, learn how to fine tune the operating system,

now you can do a search for linux jobs click on the link below

A trader, especially those that do trading for a living have sufficient knowledge and resources that they do not have or need "backups"

There are four factors that you need to be a trader and//or an investor
1 – A written sound trading/investment plan with rules that will not only help you but more importantly protect you, mostly from yourself. – Never trade on emotions, when emotions take over – you loose. Never enter a trade unless you know where and when you are going to get out. Always take a profit.

2 – Sufficient trading/investment capital. Use your own money, there’s no need to go into debt so that you trade/invest.

3 – A written money management program in place. Remember never invest 100% of your capital into any one security and never have 100% of your capital invested.
Allocate your investing capital evenly between all positions.
If a position drops 8%-10% you get out, you use stops as the price increase.

4 – A full and complete understanding of the rules & regulations of the industry

Traders do not care if the market goes up or down, they just care that the market moves. A stagnet market is a bad market for a trader.

Most traders have an investment accounts, they are not buy and hold investors, they may buy for the short term – 1-3 months or they may trade for the long term 3-6 months.
An investment that’s held for longer than 6 months is a trade that went bad.

One thing that traders/investors will never never do, and that’s to trade/invest on emotions. When emotions take over, you loose.

You don’t need to make a profit on100% of your trades, you can live very well if you only make a profit on 60% of your trades.

Trading/investing is not always about making money, most of the time is protecting what you have.

It’s hard enough to learn to make one trading strategy work. Once you can do that, you work it for all it’s worth.

Yeah, my senior year was a joke. Of all 12 years in primary school that was the least helpful.

Why not have the correct subjects from 8th grade, The preparation for 12th grade should commence then. Heaps more students will complete 12th grade that would other wise leave 10th grade or 11th grade.

you can do limit orders so you don’t have to sit and watch the stock, I use scottrade for investing, they only charge around $7.00 per trade

a good website to learn about investing is top10traders.com they give you 100k of fake money to invest and you can buy and sell anything you like just to see if you are any good at it. great way to learn
