Stock market terminology: ADR and Common Stock?
Hey whats the difference between ADR and Common Stock?
I was just on bloomberg looking at some prices and i saw these terms. easy "economics for dummy" definitions will be much a appreciated…."big purple dinosaur" it for me please ![]()

An ADR is a American Depository Receipt. Its represents a share of a foreign company denominated in US currency.
